**Special event for Singles with Aging Parents Seminar. Meet other singles who can relate**

Why?

After my dad beat a few bouts of cancer and developed mild dementia, I made a conscious decision to keep building memories and spend as much time as I can with him. For the last 5 years or so, some of you may have seen him with me at my events as the "official pen giver." He loved meeting many of you, asking some of the women out on dates, telling jokes and giving out the pens.

Dad's dementia has worsened, so I am not too sure you will see him around with me at the events. Trying to put plans in place on how to care for him has become overwhelming at times and it is an ongoing process.

I have heard that others are going through similar situations and it got me thinking that we should have a educational event for singles where related topics can be discussed. The class would talk about services that can help caregivers including but not limited to support groups, financial planning, asset protection, medicare, medicaid, services that provide reliable aids and more.

What if your parents are doing just fine? You would still be welcomed and encouraged to attend. If you plan things right, you can protect your assets if your loved one ever needed nursing care or home aid. If you wait till their is a crisis, it might be too late.

Complimentary event if you register by 5/10 at

Hi, the deadline for comp admission was to register on on/bef 5/10 as noted in the description. If you missed the deadline, you can still attend and register on the site, however there is a $10 fee that will be donated to the Alzheimers Association.. Alternatively you can make a donation to an elder related charity of your choice of at least $10 and email me the receipt.. That will also get you into the event without paying a fee. Thanks.
