Longmont Rogers River Run 5K

The flood trashed the usual course for this race but the event is still on. Same starting line but the course ventures west now, around Golden Ponds.

Hi Tina, good meeting you yesterday and congrats on your finish! If the Full Moon 5K is at McIntosh Lake, then yes, there will be about 2 miles of gravel surface similar to what you encountered yesterday around Golden Ponds. I'd recommend trying out the course before the race but you should be fine.

Does anyone know what to expect for the full-moon 5K on Sept 6? Will the gravel section be similar to the gravel section that my pink panther & I conquered at the Rogers River Run?

I also liked this temporary course better than the usual one, and will be lobbying to keep it next year.
