What we're about

Meet other people in Barcelona interested in long term thinking and the work of the Long Now Foundation ( http://www.longnow.org ).

The Long Now Foundation was established in 01996* to develop the Clock and Library projects, as well as to become the seed of a very long-term cultural institution. The Long Now Foundation hopes to provide a counterpoint to today's accelerating culture and help make long-term thinking more common. We hope to creatively foster responsibility in the framework of the next 10,000 years.

We meet on a monthly basis at MOB Pau (Makers of Barcelona) Ronda de Sant Pau, 47, 08015 Barcelona.

Long Now Barcelona + London meetup *in person* again!

Needs a location

After a long break from in-person activities, we're restarting the meetups next Monday!

Our special guest is Chris Daniel, who leads our Long Now counterpart club in London. He'll be presenting one of their most revered activities, Chalking the Horse - a 3000-year-old, 100m figure cut into the English countryside (see link below).

There will be wine, beer, and snacks to accompany as we gain inspiration and ideas for what topics, speakers, and activities we would like to see this year, now that we can meet in person again.

Hope to see you Monday 23 May at 19:00 at MOB, Bailen 11 near Arc de Triomf!
