UPDATE! Here's another chance to take advantage of Doors Open Denver (DOD). While our tour of venues participating in DOD will start on Saturday afternoon, we'll go into the evening with dinner at El Diablo and maybe a movie at the Mayan.
The venues we'll visit on Saturday will be, in order (numbers in parentheses correspond to the locations shown on the Doors Open Denver map):
Denver Public Library Decker Branch (#65)
Platt Park/Fleming House (#66)
South High School (#64) or the Washington Park Boathouse (#63) - Optional
Denver Fire Station #11 (#61)
I expect we'll meet near the Decker library branch and Fleming House initially, decide if we want to visit either South High or Wash Park, drive up Broadway and park near the El Diablo and walk to the last venue. Then we'll end up at El Diablo, early enough to get a table (I'm hoping) before the crowds and long lines of hungry customers show up. Depending upon what the group wants to do, we can consider going to a movie at the nearby Mayan and make a full night of it.

The event is on, rain or shine! But if it looks like rain (and cooler temps), be prepared.
