This year marks the beginning of a convergence of new technologies, with devices like the Hololens and the experience of mixed realities at the helm. These elements will majorly change how we interact with each other and the Internet.
Microsoft's Hololens is a highly advanced holographic headset. This tech seamlessly fuses what you see with superimposed projections that you can easily move and reshape in your environment. Beyond the wow factor, this device provides opportunities for hands-free computing, holographic teleportation across thousands of miles, and applications as diverse as those we see on an iPhone, but exponentially more powerful.
HTML Fusion developers are early mixed reality adaptors, and worked with the Hololens team to train and give Microsoft programmers pre-release feedback in September 2015. The team is excited to share mixed reality’s potential with a range of practical user-case scenarios powered by the Hololens.
Captain Philippe Lewicki will present a talk about the convergence of new technologies and showcase demos that allow him to interact with holograms in his environment and manipulate real-world objects by moving his hands. The session will end with a Q&A session and meet and greet. Come ask questions and be ready to step into a very new world.
