Memorial Service Ritual

Memorial Service Ritual
Saturday May 26th,[masked]:30pm
$10 donation, Potluck to follow

This Saturday night at the Green Man Store, there will be a ritual honoring all pagan service people, and non-pagan service people related or connected to our pagan community -- in short, the pagan community will honor all those who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces.

With the recent inclusion of paganism as a legitimate religious and spiritual path now recognized by the Armed Services of America, it is only fitting that we publicly celebrate their service and sacrifices. Come join us as we commemorate in sacred space those who are actively serving, are veterans, the wounded, and those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. This ritual will be at 8:00 p.m., with the gathering of the tribes beginning at 7:30. The ritual will be hosted by the principals of the store, with the help of Braggwynn of the Rainbow Warriors, and other familiar faces who participate regularly in the Green Man Stores events. $10 donation requested, please bring a dish to share at the potluck to follow ritual.

This was a beautiful event and the beginning of a Green Man tradition. A Memorial weekend ritual honoring veterans was a humbling and empowering thing as viewed by this veteran.
