Hi Tim!
Are you going?  It sounds cool.  Eddy's class I'm taking has given us a scrying homework, so this has the air of synchronicity about it, though I'm not sure scrying is my shtick.    Are you going to Mabon at the RWs?  I'm hoping to be there, too.  We talked about getting together for our birthdays, and it would be good to see you again.  My brother is coming to visit for a week at the end of the month, but we should plan on something soon!
Hugs and stuff,

Subject: [pagan-834] Scrying with Peter Paddon at Winnetka Tower, Sept. 23rd

Author & publisher Peter Paddon will be presenting a class on scrying Sept 23; 7 - 10 pm at the Winnetka Tower. The cost is $10, with a sliding scale available. We generally gather at the break for snacks & libations.
8000 Winnetka Ave. Winnetka,[masked]

for more information:

Skrying (also spelled scrying) is the ancient art of gazing into the worlds
beyond this one, usually with the aim of learning about things not known,
not yet come to pass, or exploring the realms of spirit.

The Ancient Egyptians used black ink in a ...copper bowl, magicians use a
dark mirror, and Gypsies use a crystal ball, but as witches we can also use
water, candle, and fire generally in the same way.Come and learn the
deceptively simple art of parting the veil and looking beyond the surface of
these innocuous objects. Bring a small plain bowl if you have one.
