Details

These are our traditional annual Janus Sequential Century Rides held on both Saturday and Sunday of the same weekend. Both days start from the same location and at the same time. They are named after Janus, the Roman God of duality or of beginnings and endings who faces both the past and the future for two reasons: 1) They are held in January; 2) They ride the same route both days but in the opposite direction. Two routes are available each day; full century and metric century. Check out our web page at http://www.lawheelmen.org/route-overview-2/?target=janus-sequential-centuries for full details; description, maps, and route sheets including access to downloadable files for your bike computer (for turn-by-turn directions, logon or create a free RideWithGPS account, copy the route in RideWithGPS, download that copy and upload it to your bike computer).

Cycling involves significant risks so please never let your guard down, know and follow the rules of the road and always exercise safety.
Please wear a helmet and bring flat tire repair gear (tubes, tire levers, pump and C02). Don't forget water. If you will be joining us for the first time, be sure to bring a signed release of liability waiver and hand it to the ride leader or to a club member at the start. Download the waiver at http://www.lawheelmen.org/waivers/. Hope to see you there!
