What we're about

Guided by an experienced health care professional, this positive, up-lifting, woman-centered, healing & supportive community invites all women who seek a safe place to speak their hearts, make new friends, explore the inner self, feelings, the life cycle, what it means to be a woman, personality development and disorders, mothers and daughters, mothers of sons, and self-growth. Please post your portrait/photo - and as a private group it is visible to members only.

The weekly format will include a group Check-in during Tea Time, a starter self-exploratory exercise, and a weekly theme or topic to focus discussion on, Q & A. In ending, we will have a relaxing activity. Various calming, relaxing therapies will be introduced and implemented -- Aromatherapy, Music or Sound Therapy, Visualization, CBT (cognitive behavior therapy homework, Self-Massage Therapy and Art Therapy.

Life is full of ups and downs, and navigating the stormy waters of life is much easier with the comradeship and community of women, led by a health care professional. Grieving can be shortened and our weekly stress reliever is worth the trip in itself!

Heather W is a semi-retired professor, writer and international conference speaker. She also loves to sail and is captain of her own ship! She is a certified Clinical Nurse Leader, member of Women in Film, Women's Sailing Association of OC.
