Eastside Meets Westside Monthly Bash - Ruby Style

Monthly Bash - Ruby Style

Thursday May 16th from 6:30-10pm
The Eastside and Westside Ruby Study Groups will finally have a chance to meet and study together in person.  The talented people of NationBuilder have graciously lent us their space and time and are hosting our first event.  Carlo Flores will be presenting his hands on demonstration of Sinatra.  We will all be building a working app together using this platform.  There will be food, there will be fun, networking and you will even learn something.  So bring your computer, your business cards and a smile. All are welcome.

The Schedule of Events:

6:30-7:30   Networking & Announcements

7:30- 9:30  Sinatra Hands-on Demonstration by Carlo Flores

9:30 - 10    Networking

10:00   After Party - Perch (roof of same building)

Thank you Jen for presenting this. The food was great, Carlo presentation was great, and the people made it fun. Also the Guacamole reminded me of something I ate in Mexico City a few months ago, that good!!!

Awesome night. Thank you Nationbuilder and Carlo! Sinatra's been a framework I've wanted to try, Carlo made it accessible. Love how everyone in this group helps each other - the mission is achieved.
    Stay tuned, more to come!

What a great night. 25 people! Woo. Carlo Flores showed us around Sinatra and certainly made it sing for us. The method team were the winners by only one point of the Geek Games.
