Tell us a bit about your interest in DIY, Making, or Education.

DIY is our approach to education. My son once said that he loved learning until I sent him to school. It took me awhile to finally get it, but eventually I decided to homeschool. Now my son has a HUGE say in what, how, when and where he learns. He tends to be most excited about hands-on learning activities anywhere - in nature, museums, gardens, farms - mostly he gravitates towards science centers and tech musuems. His endless curiosity and fascination never cease to amaze me. I wish all children could have this much fun learning!

I am homeschooling my always curious, eager to learn 8 year old son, Ethan, who loves tinkering, exploring, and creating.
