Dear John:

I don’t know if you have seen Brainshark. It is amazing.

It has many of the items on your wish list.

Best Wishes,

Subject: [wordpress-196] Theme Recommendation

My name is John and I am just getting started with wordpress. I have a site for my business at It's rubbish.

I am going to launch a new wordpress website and have been scouring through tons of themes, both free and paid.

I have a few questions for you guys.

1. Where is the best place to scour for good themes? I have done most of my scouring from here:

2. Could any of you recommend a theme based on the capabilities I need:

-drag and drop widgets (if possible)
-an information inquiry form (for a contact us page) widget
-video and audio posting capability
-a bright, slick design
-easy access to social media sites on the homepage
-a database, log in function to access exclusive content
-paypal capabilities to purchase products (tutoring programs) directly from the site
-capability to do a slideshow of pictures (either flash or a photobucket thing) on the home page
-interactive calendars where customers can schedule an appointment online
-a drop down menu where customers can filter by subject, pick a subject, and then it will list the available tutors for that subject (sounds complicated, but it is what they are doing here:

Any recommendations or advice would be HUGE. I'm totally clueless here.

Thanks a ton,
