Secure Web Apps: From Zero to Hero in 1 Hour

About every day we read of another website being hacked, exposing users to the agony of identity theft.  Everyone knows somebody that has been a victim of this crime. As web application developers, we must take security very seriously, considering the protection of user data our top priority.

Perhaps you have never been tasked with writing secure web applications. You might be new to the field and could use a jump start. It could be that you are a veteran developer and you need a refresher course.

In this session the goal is to grasp the basics of writing a secure web application. We will cover some basic coding rules as well as a set of principles that will help you confidently build secure web applications.
