Have you ever used Siri, “Hey Google”, or Cortana and wondered how you can build speech recognition into an app? Probably not, because they’re pretty bad. Right? Well, move over Siri – the next generation of customized speech recognition engines is here. I’ve spent the last year training and integrating Microsoft’s Speech to Text service into various apps and have a lot to share. You’ll learn how you can easily create adaptive acoustic and language models to customize a speech recognition system to account for regional dialects, word usage/choice, and obscure words and phrases. After training these models, you’ll learn how to deploy and integrate these into your apps.
