Cherokee/Seneca Trail Day

  • entrance to No Net Trail below tennis courts

  • We'll plan to meet near the new switchback on No Net
  • We are building some of the best new single-track ever devised right here in the heart of the city! Come join us and be a part of building trails that will be enjoyed by all for years to come.
  • Come on out and get your hands dirty, trail that you built is always more fun to ride! We highly recommend wearing boots, gloves and eye protection! Other items to bring include water, food, family members and a few of your lazy riding buddies who have been tearing up the trails for the past 20 years (I used to be one). See ya there!

I am sorry to announce that the Cherokee Trail Day for Saturday March 1, 2014 is cancelled. I spoke with Steve Freeman our Cherokee Trail Steward last night and we agree that the weather and trail conditions will not be suitable for trail building. We are also requesting a meeting with Major from Olmsted in order to discuss repairs and re-route options so that we can start planning actual work to be completed on trail days. Until we can come up with a decisive plan of action and get approval for these changes we are in a permanent holding pattern for trail days. We will make a formal announcement once we have a solid plan of action and can get out and start building and repairing the trail at Cherokee Park. Thank you for your patience and understanding. :)
