What we're about
Please join us in reading Nonfiction books then discussing them during a dinner event. Our emphasis will be on Nonfiction literary award winners and finalists. For the next few months, we'll focus on international issues and reading about various parts of the world. The books we read are General Nonfiction, History, Biographies, Memoirs, Current Events, Investigative Reporting, etc. The books must all be available on the Kindle, in paperback, on Audible, and available at the Louisville Free Public Library.
We welcome and encourage diversity. We respect all Spiritual beliefs and will not read a book that either promotes or portrays any belief in a derogatory way. We welcome open and respectful discussion. While most of the subject matter in the books chosen lend themselves to political discussion, this group does not promote or dismiss any political viewpoint.

Our events will be held at restaurants, so you can have dinner while engaging in stimulating conversations.
Please post a recognizable picture of yourself when you join, so we'll know who you are when you come to the events. Our group settings are private, so no one outside the group will be able to see who our members are or who is coming to events.
If you've signed up for an event and are unable to come, please change your status to "not going" or let me know. If you "no show" twice, you'll be removed from the group. We're meeting at restaurants and will need to make reservations.
We have no official dues; however, please bear in mind that I pay meetup dues which are approximately $200 a year. Any contributions are greatly appreciated.
