We will hike at the Parklands at Floyds Fork. Note change this now a loop

The  Parklands at Floyds Fork hike has been changed. This is a loop now.  The bus will drop us off in the Parkland of Floyd's Fork off Shelbyville Road (Blue Heron Road) and
we will hike back there. We will start and end at the same place.

The bus will leave from St. James Court at Magnolia at 2 P.M.  The bus fare will be $5-$6.  After we hike we will eat at Mimi's Cafe, 615 South Hurstbourne Parkway  This an easy hike.

IF you do drive take Shelbyville Road (US 60) exit 27 off 265 toward Eastwood.  Go about a mile and turn right on S. Beckley Station Road.  Go to the Beckley Creek Park and park near Sprayground or PNC Achievement Center.

Not gonna make it after all; sorry! Another time, as I've never been here and really want to explore the Louisville Loop as it progresses...

FYI, the Parklands staff hosts some great family-friendly hikes. There's one on the 30th. Typically an Interpretative Ranger leads the hike thru one of the trails.

Sorry folks, this is La Verne (Mike and I share email.) I'm trying to learn how to navigate your site. The comment I "thought" I left was that we will be looking for future hikes at The Parklands. We are there most days of the week walking anyway. This date doesn't work well but I'm sure once you go there will be future dates. This park is a treasure in so many ways. Enjoy!
