The Black Ivy Business Club announces guest speakers at this month’s event on Thursday, 22nd February 10-12noon.
Billy Lowe will be talking about his 25yrs in the hotel and bar industry, where he has acquired and sold over 30 venues in the capital and his new venture, the Black Ivy Hotel and Bar. Joining Billy will be Zara Janjua who will be sharing insights into her career path over the last 10 years from STV presenter to stand-up comedian.
The ‘net-working’ club, Love Your Business, was launched last month and will feature a variety of inspirational guest speakers on the last Thursday of every month from 10am -12noon, perfect for anyone in business from idea to growth stage or who want to hear stories from inspirational people.
The Club takes place in an innovative and quirky ‘free’ coworking space around two ping pong tables to encourage people to work productively all day, then remember to take time out and have fun when the nets go up at 7pm every night.
Like table tennis, running a business involves similar tactics – understanding your competitor, thinking on your feet, acting fast and being resilient when things go awry. Try it out – business success stories and tips and a game of table tennis with some like-minded people, what’s not to love!
The ‘Love Your Business’ events are hosted by Michelle from Michelle Brown PR and Niki Hutchison from The Simplicity Concept who have 30 years’ collective agency experience and run their own successful businesses – tickets are selling fast.
Make no mistake, this is not your ordinary networking event. You will leave every event armed with specific new marketing & PR skills and techniques learnt from people who have been formally educated and worked in these industries. Michelle & Niki have helped to grow some of the UK's biggest brands and organisations for many years and are now keen to share their accumulated knowledge and experience to help you do exactly the same for your business.
Don't miss these events if you are ready to:
- grow your tribe of raving fans
- learn what PR and marketing you should (and more importantly should not) be doing - and when
- increase your exposure and build brand awareness in 2018
- massively increase your revenue in 2018
- refine your systems, saving you time and energy as your business grows
- learn from people who have been there, done it for their own and hundreds of other companies and completely understand what you need to do to get your business to where you want it - and fast
Bring along business cards, pens & notebooks and a proactive attitude and get ready to learn. We promise at the very least one 'glad I didn't miss this' nugget at every event!
PLUS there will be one winning business card drawn at every event whose owner will enjoy a complimentary bespoke brand audit of their business, courtesy of Michelle & Niki.
