Springtime in Provence - Photo, Wine & Culinary Trip

May 13th-18th, 2014 - Provence

We have designed and planned a very special photo, culinary & wine vacation through the south of France. The Luberon Region of Provence is one of the most sought after destinations in the world, and one of the most beautiful places you can explore. Here you will find Roman bridges and roads, perched medieval villages, farms with world-renowned produce and some of the best wines in the world. The landscapes and vistas should not be missed.

Travelers of all levels of sophistication, foodies and wine lovers, and photographers of all levels have raved about the experience.

This trip is small, personalized and interesting. They is a nice balance between having a set itinerary (so you know what to expect) and a spontaneous flare that you might get if you just ventured out on your own. The big difference is that we go to places that most tourists don't know about or you would need to know a local for access...and we do it in groups of 4-12 people, maximum. No buses. No crowds.

This trip continues to be a wonderful experience for people who have joined us each year. We are headed back to Provence in the Spring of 2014. We'll be on the look out for blooming poppy fields, Roman ruins, sprawling vistas, amazing food and great wine. You can photograph your way through the trip either on your own or as part of our formal photo workshop. All levels are welcome from beginner to pro. With such a beautiful place to visit, there's something for everyone's skill level.

Many people have told me that going on this trip is like traveling with friends. It's personal without being intrusive. It's immersive and an enriching experience.

This is a 6 day/5 night trip and includes:

• Pick up and drop off at the Avignon train station at a set time

• 5 nights lodging in a beautiful small privately owned in with gardens, terraces, pool and more

• Homemade breakfasts of fresh baked breads and pastries, homemade jams, cheeses, egg, yogurts, cereals and more

• Onsite planner and guide to help with and customize all of your events/meals etc

• Customized sightseeing with private guide, translation, private car/van with driver

• 2 gourmet multi course meals per day (most days including fine wines)

• Exclusive access experiences

Price: starts at $2,975 per person (dbl occupancy) (Are you a member of the ASMP? Mention it when booking)

Contact me for supplemental pricing if you wish to also include specialty wine tastings, cooking lessons with a Michelin starred chef, and other customized culinary activities or festivals.

We do our trips to France through our trusted travel expert, Bliss Travels. You can find more detail on their website here: Spring Vacation in Provence

Hi Debi, We actually have a couple female travelers who might be coming solo --so you will have plenty of company whether or not you get a friend to join you. Please contact me [masked] and we can talk about your options for travel & room sharing. Best, Wendy Jaeger (owner, Bliss Travels)I'm the person who designs and plans the travel portion of these trips. Anthony is the photographer who really creates the artistic magic!
