Let's make some noise Loveland Acoustic Music'
All skill levels welcome and all types of acoustic instruments. And, we now have an acoustic guitar amp, in hole guitar pickup and microphone for anyone who would like to try the experience of an open mic or just hear how good they sound, in a safe and supportive environment. This could also work for someone with an electric base. We also have a simple electric keyboard and a cajón. We are trying to expand the types of instrument voices to improve the sound and hopefully include more folks and new talent. The Goal: Have fun, learn and have a new song or two to take home. Space is limited so I would like to try for around 10-15 people. We will take some time to talk about the organization and frequency of the meet ups and get to know each other a bit. REQUESTS - Please no amplifiers we do not have the space or the electrical outlets for them. - Music stands are not needed all song are projected on a screen for everyone to see and follow along. - If you have a song you would like to share with the group please bring it and several copies to share (please try to select a song that is not too difficult to play - we want everyone to be able to join in). - A listing of all of our current songs can be viewed at: Thank you and welcome. We are looking forward meeting you! play LOUD, LONG and OFTEN. :-)

What we're about

Short video of some group members warming up
This is an acoustic jam/learning group which includes beginners to seasoned performers. We meet in Loveland but for now have limited space and can accommodate a maximum of 15 people at a session.
All skill levels welcome

The Goal: Have fun, learn by creating a friendly supportive environment in which to learn and share. Encourage beginners and support folks who would like to present their own songs or music.

The lyrics and chords are displayed using a projector so all can see and follow along (music books and/or paper copies are not required).

Individuals are welcome and encouraged to introduce songs but must be able to lead the group for any song they introduce.

The library of our songs is posted on the meetup group's Dropbox website so members can down load or print them and create their own custom songbook.
