This is a great group of ladies, and there are no strangers here, just friends you haven't met yet! This group is fairly new, but we are making wonderful connections! As we share our life events and our stories, we grow and learn and help one another. We are about friendship, clean fun outings, sharing stories, and more. It doesn’t matter if you are 20 or 70, single or married, new in town or lived here all your life, if you would like to go on some fun outings, have some laughs, and maybe some cries, and make some special friends, then this is the group for you.
We will have lunch, coffee, and dinner get-togethers; hikes and strolls through gardens, parks, and the Riverwalk; book clubs and picnics;' craft shows and shopping adventures; and maybe even some out of town trips. There will hopefully be something each member will be interested in. And as the group grows, the amount of possibilities for get-togethers will grow.
Our events will take place mostly in downtown San Antonio, at the Pearl, at the Quarry, at La Villita, and we hope to branch out to areas near North Star Mall, Universal City, and other local areas. If you are new in town and don't know where these areas are, don't fret, we will give you good directions for each event.
We are about lifting other people up, not tearing them down. We do not engage in any foul language or dirty jokes as that adds a negative vibe to the atmosphere and that is definitely not any fun. This is not an all-Christian group, but many of our members are Christians. We are not a networking group and we have a no advertising policy, but we do want to get to know one another, so if you own a business, please feel free to share what you do. We are always interested in learning about your personal adventures in your career of choice.
For some basic guidelines:
Membership is based on a 30 day free trial. We want you to feel comfortable with the group and to make sure that it is a good fit for you. After that, there is a small once-a-year $10 annual membership fee . Membership fees are payable to Meetup through We Pay(they keep $1.25) or you can pay the organizer directly. This fee is to help cover the cost for the right to use the Meetup site as well as any additional expenses for the group.
It takes time to make friends and feel comfortable, so the more often you come, the better you will feel about others and the group as a whole.
This is a ladies group only so no men will be allowed unless the event specifies that it is mixed company. The same applies for children. We love our kids, grandkids and yours as well but this again is a ladies only group.
When space allows and is specified on the event, each member can bring 1-2 guests. Each guest is limited to two events which will allow her to get to know us. After that, she will need to decide if this group is a good fit for her and must join. Each guest must be female.
We request that you honor each and every response to the events that you choose to attend. Our hosts take time and effort to plan and coordinate the event. We absolutely understand that things happen in life and circumstances can cause a change in our response or the ability to give advance notice. So please follow the golden rule of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.
This group promotes good friendship and respect, therefore, no shows are not allowed.

Why we have a cancellation policy: We require that every member be courteous, reliable, and respectful of the time and effort of the hosts. The host travels to the event expecting you to show up and she considers you important and is looking forward to meeting you and having fun.
Cancellation Policy: Please keep all RSVP's current. As things change, change your RSVP as needed. No-shows are not acceptable and cancelling less than 24 hours in advance without any explanation will be considered the same as a no-show in our attendance records. We understand that emergencies happen and of course will be considered.
•1st Last-Minute cancellation/no show: No worries. You have time to get used to the process.
•2nd Last-Minute cancellation/no show: We will check-in with you via email and remind you of our Last-Minute Cancellation Policy. We will also ask that you wait to sign up for an activity that you want to attend until the day of that activity when you know with more certainty that you can attend.
3rd Last-Minute cancellation/No show within 6 month's time frame -You will be removed from the group for a period of 30 days. After that you can apply for acceptance again.
If there are no RSVP's 24 hours before an event, that event will be cancelled.
As our group grows and progresses, changes/alterations may be made to these guidelines.
