We will have food and social time
Bring a dish you think folks will enjoy. When you know what you will be bringing, please post it in the comments.
You can post the recipe for your dish online or bring hard copies. It is helpful to know what a serving of your dish is (portion-wise) as well as net and total carbs per serving. We also want to know tweaks you made to the recipe, why you like that particular recipe, etc.
We will be providing an assortment of drinks, including some alcoholic options, and ice. Also, cups, plates, napkins, and plasticware will be available. So just focus on bringing your dish and what you need to serve it.
We will be discussing our favorite recipe sources, so bring your faves to show us.
Enjoy the incredible food at The Rouxpour. And do not worry: low carb does NOT mean missing out on dessert. For those interested, we will proceed to Starbucks (a short walk away) where we can enjoy coffee, tea, etc, and I will provide some low carb desserts (pralines and creme brulee). We will also have a brief chat about the book Get Serious by Brett Osborne and an overview of what to expect at the Low Carb Conference in Clear Lake the following week.
