Die Hard Gift & Liquor Exchange

  • to
  • This location is shown only to members

  • Whether you celebrate Chanukah, Christmas, Festivus, Kwanza, Nerdmas, nothing, or anything in between, I think we can agree that Die Hard is a good time. Let's watch Die Hard, eat Tex-Mex, and have a White Elephant Gift/Liquor Exchange!

You know you want to come, so plan on it!

There will also be games, prizes, Jell-O shots, beer pong, maybe even some eggnog. And there will be a completely optional gift exchange after dinner. The gift exchange will work as follows:
-There is a $20-25 spending limit.
-I have an entire notebook full of ideas for the gift exchange. If you don't know what to bring, simply let me know and I'll give you some ideas.
-Please bring your receipt. It's not that we don't trust you, but bring it anyway. ;)
-We will have a random drawing to determine gift opening order.
-Each gift can change hands no more than three times. (One would be whoever unwrapped it. Two would be a person who steals it. And three would be a second person stealing it. This person gets to go home with that gift.)
-Each turn begins with the person who has the next number either choosing a still-wrapped gift or stealing any available gift.
-If your gift is stolen, you immediately get another go and choose again. Technical Rules for those who care:
-You cannot go home with the gift you brought.
-Your gift needs to be wrapped or in a gift bag.
-Person who ended up with worst gift
-Person who ended up bringing the best gift

    More details to come soon.
