Beginners to Intermediate Social Fun Hit
This social fun hit is specifically for beginner to intermediate level players only. Josie (whom has put up her hand to run this meetup) is keen for a regular hit to get back into tennis, improve playing and HAVE FUN!!! She is hoping to gather a regular group of like minded players. The cost for the courts is $20 per hour or $25 once lights are turned on. This will be divided among those who turn up to play on the day. The club has racquets available for hire $2 per hour if you have not got your own as yet. So come along for 2 hours of tennis, fitness and social fun... :)

Royal Park Tennis Club

What we're about

This is a group started with the intention of providing tennis for those interested in playing tennis in their lunch break during weekdays which is still the main focus, although it has evolved into providing social tennis opportunities at other times as well. During the warmer months I will change the times to earlier in the day to escape the heat.

My name is Janice Lacy and I am the group organizer. I am also the Member Services Manager at the Royal Park Tennis Club. I love tennis and playing in my lunch breaks is a great way to have my fix.

All skill levels are welcome. The Royal Park Tennis Club is located conveniently near Melbourne CBD, Parkville, Brunswick, Carlton and Ftzroy in the leafy Northern Suburbs. The club will provide courts for this group from 12am to 2pm at a discounted rate ( RPTC members free).

Select the date you wish to play and add your name to a court. As other members will be relying on you to attend for their game please ensure you attend on time.

Court hire is $12per hour ( a special rate for this meetup group) this will be divided amongst the players who turn up on the day . You will not find cheaper hire rates anywhere in town.

All costs will be payable at Royal Park Tennis Club on the day. All members of the Royal Park Tennis Club can play for free, please bring your membership card.

Bring your lunch and use the clubhouse facilities.
The club also has racquets, shoes and balls for hire if you haven't any of your own.
