Be yourself at your personal best! Let Luton Speakers Club show you.
Are you dreading that upcoming presentation to your co-workers... or worse... for your supervisor? It sounds great when you are thinking about it - however, you are afraid the presentation will fall flat during the actual presentation. How confident do you feel speaking off the cuff? Especially while you are being interviewed for a job or a new position? Humour during speeches increases the audience retention. Luton Speakers Club instructs - and allows for practice time - to develop the best speaker each member can be. Luton Speakers is a club whose goals are to assist its members to improve their communication and leader skills. Meetings include sections for prepared speeches, impromptu speaking, and practicing how to give useful feedback. Everyone is welcome. Most of our members started with no speaking experience. We maintain a supportive environment where people learn effective communication skills by practicing and gaining confidence through real-life experience. Join Us! See what a meeting is like. There is no charge for attending the meeting. For additional information about the Club, visit our website, or ask questions in the comments section below. What we're about

Luton Speakers is a Toastmaster Club were you can learn public speaking, presentation and leadership skills. We have a learning by doing philosophy, were we try to directly practise the type of communication skills we want to improve. We try to have a very supportive, and friendly environment where we aim to learn from each other, and give appropriate feedback to each member based on there current skills, and goals. Our members work through a programme of ten speeches designed to develop a variety of public speaking skills, and also carry out a variety of other meeting roles to practice skills such as listening and giving feedback. Each member works at their own pace – some people like to throw themselves into giving speeches straight away, while others prefer to spend some time attending meetings and carrying out smaller roles to build up their confidence. Come along to a meeting to see what we are all about, and find out if we can help you with your goals.
