You have asked for Cuba and here it comes.
Very important: Early organisation necessary. Visa & Tourist Card
*You will need a Visa or Tourist card which can be obtained from your Cuban consulate.
*From 1st of May 2010, a medical insurance is demanded by Cuban authorities for all travellers. For all travellers not having it, it will be compulsory to subscribe one upon arrival in a Cuban agency.
*A 25 Cuban convertible Pesos (CUC) / (about 23 EUR) tax compulsory for departure.

In addition there is now low a cost airline Condor that operates direct flights to Havana.
When you need to be there?
You should be latest at the base on Saturday 24th at 4pm, and we will return to the base on Friday 30th at 6pm. We are leaving the yacht on the following day Saturday 31st, 9am
Transfers from Havana / Airport to base?
Duration of trip between La Havane and base (Cienfuegos) is about 3 to 3h30 (around 240km or 150 miles). Depending on the amount of people, will will organise transfer from Havana / Airport to the base.
Things to know:
-Only soft bags (Suitecases are possible, but you need to store them in your cabin)
-Take light and comfortable closes allowing enduring day heat; take some rain clothes too and a wool pullover for "chilly" evenings, buses trips, and over air conditioned hotels. -
-Bring elegant clothes, as we will be needing them when discovering « Nights of Cuba ».
-It is recommended to bring a small first-aid kit with aspirin, disinfectant, analgesics, and any other useful thing you may need.
-Bring protecting solar cream, sun glasses, cap or hat, and mosquito repellent.
-Fishing with harpoon is forbidden as well as lobster fishing (never mention it officially).
-(Bring some rum & cigarettes, tomato sauce, cooking oil, milk or beers to swap against fresh fishes with fishermen).

Day 2 : Playa Sirena - Cayo largo
Day 3 : Cayo Largo - ballanetos - quinto canal
Day 4 : Quinto Canal - Cayo Rosario
Day 5 : Cayo Rosario - Cayo estopa - Cayo Rico
Day 6 : Cayo Rico - Cayo Largo - Cayo Sal
Day 7 : Cayo Sal - CIENFUEGOS
Day 8 : Cienfuegos disembarkation
