This is a fun support group to make friends, be encouraged and share insights. Your friends and family are also welcome if they want to learn more about what it's like to have Lyme Disease or a related illness. Our group is designed to break the isolation that accompanies Lyme Disease and chronic illnesses. We share experiences to help everyone on their journey of recovery. Topics we may talk about include: What health care practitioners have helped you that you would recommend? What treatments both alternative and mainstream have you tried that have worked? What books, websites, and other resources have you found helpful? We will discuss cost effective treatment solutions.

We will meet in the Burbank - Glendale - Toluca Lake - Studio City area and do something relaxing and simple. We will go out locally for healthy food, meet at parks with ample seating, meet for tea/coffee and more!

Lyme Disease is often misdiagnosed as many different types of illnesses. That is why we are welcoming members with different diagnostic issues. If you have wondered if you (or a family member) might have Lyme Disease and/or related co-infections, but have been diagnosed with something else, then this is a safe group for you to ask questions and explore that possibility.

Lyme Disease may be misdiagnosed as: fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue, lupus, MS, sjogrens, ALS, some cases of autism (especially if not improving with treatment) and many other auto-immune disorders. If you have fatigue and some degree of pain, we encourage you to google "lyme disease symptom checklist" or look under the "PAGES" tab above for several links.

Please feel free to let others know about the group who may need some additional support and friends.
