Lightening Talks: Your favourite text editors and IDEs
This is a recurring event where participants will get a chance to improve their skills with a structured two hour session broken down to these components:
- 20 minutes of instruction on a topic by a member, prepared beforehand and announced.
Working as a Developer
- 15 minutes of conversations about a topic related to the job aspects of coding, such as finding jobs, how to prepare for interviews, working in coding, team work etc.
- 10 minutes of quick show and tell from one or two volunteer participants, does not need to be prepared or announced.
- 75 minutes of group study session where at least one, possibly more developers will be present to answer questions as members work on their own projects by themselves or with a group.
