Okay fellow togs,
It's getting cold out. Let's do some photography inside. Inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
I'll start with a 30 minute photo class covering low light photography and photography in museums. No tripods or flash photography on this one. But we can capture wonderful pictures regardless.
From Ancient Egypt to Medieval Europe to Africa, Oceania and then on to the classical world of the Ancient Greeks and Romans, we will encounter works that reflect humankind's highest achievements.
We can make it a photographic highlights tour which includes the Arms and Armor Gallery, the Temple of Dendur, the Asmat Canoe and of course Van Gogh.
Let's see who can tell this story in the most powerful way. Check out images from last year under "past meetups" to see what you can capture.
The fee includes the class, admission to the museum and my photographic support at the museum until 3:00pm. You are free to stay until closing if you like.
There is limited participation so RSVP early.
Meanwhile, just keep clicking',
