Your Host: Maxine Lee
Maxine oversees the MAP Startup Accelerator and manages the content of the program. She facilitates both local and global investor, mentor and channel partner connections to MAP’s portfolio of startups. Prior to MAP, Maxine worked in brand consulting with clients in IT, supply chain and logistics across Australia. She has a background in market research, advertising and worked to restructure a national non-for-profit organisation in 2013. After enjoying a brief stint in the fashion industry, she identified a need for designers to connect with funding online (leading to her first meeting with MAP). She graduated with a Master of Management (Accounting) from the University of Melbourne.

Sally-Ann Williams is the Engineering Community & Outreach Manager for Google Australia.
She is responsible for a broad portfolio of programs including leading Google’s efforts in CS and STEM education & outreach (K-12), research collaborations with universities and entrepreneurship and startup engagement.
In her role leading Google’s CS/STEM education engagement she manages over 45 partnerships & programs designed to inspire students, equip teachers, and connect the community to the possibilities careers in CS can lead to. Most recently this work has included national implementation strategies to support ACARA’s Digital Technology curriculum and help position Australia as a nation of innovators.
In her role with the startup community she manages partnerships and collaborates with co-working spaces, incubators and accelerators, universities and the public sector to build and grow the ecosystem.
Prior to joining Google 9 years ago, Sally-Ann worked at several Australian tertiary institutions in a range of academic and academic administration roles spanning executive education, public sector management, research and postgraduate degrees and tertiary management. A life long learner she holds an undergraduate and research masters degree and several other postgraduate qualifications.
Our Guest Speaker: Alison Hardacre
Alison Hardacre is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of HealthKit, a global health platform for patients and practitioners, providing practice management software to private practices customised to any health system and integrated services to patients such as searchable directories and patient portals to track your health. By bringing services together in the one platform, HealthKit solves major intractable issues in health, making healthcare more efficient, effective and accessible. In two years, HealthKit has become one of the top three practice management software providers in Australia and it is also one of the most used directories in Australia; with practitioners and patients in 40 different countries around the world, HealthKit is focused on international growth. Prior to founding HealthKit, Alison held executive strategy and management roles in banking and health insurance. She is also a former Young Australian of the Year for health and community service, and has served as a director of the National Suicide Prevention Board, the Stronger Families and Communities Partnership and Scope. Alison speaks five Asian languages and holds Arts, Law and MBA degrees.
