A limiting belief is a disempowering narrative we tell ourselves based upon conjecture, or based upon various excuses we have invented. We use it to justify inactivity or choose the path of least resistance. This is the first meetup in what I'm calling the "Live mind series" which aims to help us all break out of "autopilot" mode in our lives.
I'm not organizing this series because I am a coach or expert (because I am not!), but because I want to learn, grow and share with like-minded people.
Your mission should you choose to accept it is:
- listen to a podcast
- spend some honest time writing down a list of your limiting beliefs
- try to go through the next week or longer challenging yourself to recognize your limiting beliefs when they come up for you; note your reactions
- come ready to share openly, honestly and non-judgmentally because we all need each other to overcome our insidious beliefs!
