What we're about

This is a group for anyone who is interested in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). It's a personality assessment tool resulting in 16 different types of personality. It takes place every third Tuesday of the month.

Come along, talk about your type, learn about the types of others, discuss how to use MBTI for personal development, and make new MBTI friends! Anyone from beginners to die-hard fans are welcome.

Our group is very open and friendly. If you have MBTI-related topics you want to learn about, feel free to post them on the message board or message the organiser (me!) privately. This is a new group and still finding its feet, so if you have thoughts on the direction you would like it to take, then also let us know.

• Join our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/mbtimanchester) (for MBTI discussions and event details)

• Take the free MBTI test (https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test)

• Read about the types (https://www.16personalities.com/personality-types)

Manchester Myers Briggs Group: Social

Chapter One Books

We'll be getting together to have a general discussion about Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) with an emphasis on personal growth. It's great to learn about MBTI as a theory, but it really comes to life when you connect with others to learn about other types and share ideas. Come along, talk about your type, and learn more about other types :) We're a low-key meetup and we try to find as quiet a space as possible. We're friendly and welcoming, so don't worry about being new. NOTE: please only RSVP if you intend to attend, rather than "save the date", and try to cancel in good time if your plans change. Late cancellations make managing the meetup very difficult due to booking the space. We welcome absolute beginners as well as die-hard fans. You don't have to know your type, but it's good to at least have an idea of the basics of MBTI so you can participate in discussions about it. We're very helpful at explaining topics, and we also enjoy getting into geeky discussions. Learn about the MBTI functions here: https://personalityjunkie.com/ Read about all the types here: https://www.16personalities.com/personality-types If you don't know what your type is you can take the test here: http://jupiter-34.appspot.com/
