Handel's Messiah & Westminster Choir College at Lincoln Center
Hi all! Happy New Year! Kicking off the 2018 season with a fantastic concert at legendary Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall. Don't miss an exciting evening of music on Sunday evening, February 25 at 8:00pm. The evening will feature selections from Handel's riveting "Messiah" with the Masterwork Festival Chorus and New York City Chamber Orchestra, led by American composer and conductor Tim Sharp. If you missed the "Messiah" this holiday season, now is your chance! Conductor Tim Sharp will lead the Masterwork Festival Chorus in selections including "Behold the Lamb of God", "All We Like Sheep", "Since By Man Came Death", "Worthy Is The Lamb/Amen", "O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings To Zion", "For Unto Us A Child Is Born", "Hallelujah!", and more. Conductor and composer Tim Sharp is approaching his 10th season as Artistic Director of the Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, Tulsa, OK, where critics characterize his performances as “impressively polished”, and having “stunning power” and “great passion and precision”. Composer and mandolin player Michael Powell has been hailed as "a skilled composer who understands the voice in all stages of development", was a semi-finalist for the 2016 GRAMMY Music Educator Award, and won the American Prize in Choral Performance in 2012. The concert also features the National Festival Chorus performing an array of choral works under the direction of Amanda Quist and James Jordan, as well as performances by the Westminster Chapel Choir and Westminster Schola Cantorum, also conducted by Amanda Quist and James Jordan. The program includes Mozart's "Confutatis" and "Lacrimosa" (from "Requiem"), Dan Forrest's "Good Night, Dear Heart", Blake R. Henson's "My Flight For Heaven", and more. **Make sure to reserve your spot early for this concert as seats are limited! Tickets are only $7 each, an amazing discount (Orchestra value $90-110)! What we're about

    Public Group

Concertgoers Meetup presents several major performances each season in renowned venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Collaborations with the all-professional New York City Chamber Orchestra, Masterworks Festival Chorus comprised of auditioned singers from across the country and the Manhattan Concert Chorale include Mozart Requiem, Beethoven Mass, Handel's Messiah and more. Tickets are available to members of this group at a deep discount and sometimes complimentary. As the organizer, I would like to ask you respect the rules:

Please respect Carnegie Hall's and Lincoln Center's rules and do not interfere with anyone’s enjoyment of the music or your membership will be permanently revoked. (That includes trying to sell our tickets.)
Do not discuss any ticket discounts at the concert. You will be among patrons who have paid full price for thier tickets.
Be polite and use common sense as an audience member (do not eat during the concert; do not text or talk on the phone during the concert; do not bring children under five.) Your support and applause is appreciated.
The Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center box offices have nothing to do with the Concertgoers Meetup group nor the ticket discounts so please do not contact them about it; if you have questions please contact me directly.
