Often times, we try too hard to "fit" mindfulness into the day; whereas when mindfulness becomes a natural occurrence at home, at work, in relationships, etc., you organically experience the practice itself. Incorporating mindfulness into your life can result in more focus, better sleep, less anxiety and depression, a reduction in unhealthy habits, greater connection, and an improved sense of well-being. Led by Christy Curtis, this immersive workshop is dedicated to the experience of mindful living where you will explore a combination of mindfulness and meditative practices, discussion, and activities.
Christy is a meditation guide and mindfulness coach, a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher through UMASS School of Science Center for Mindfulness, holds a certificate of training in Mindfulness Based Eating (MB-EAT), and is a certified Yoga Nidra teacher through CA College of Ayurveda. Since 2009, she has shared the gifts of meditation and mindfulness in workshops, classes, and retreats with thousands of individuals.
