WE WILL DO WARM-UP EXERCISE LIKE THIS PICTURE OURSELVES.
Sunday, June 8th,2014 at 11:30 AM - Guided walk: Over Brooklyn Bridge to
Manhattan Bridge then walk on crowded area of China Town on Bowery Street to
E.Houston Street (7 block walk). Stop at WHOLEFOODS for Picnic, lunch, with
members at their 2nd floor Cafeteria. We resume our walk for last and third bridge
for today event to Williamsburg Bridge.We will walk over the Williamsburg Bridge to
Brooklyn and back on the same bridge and walk along Delancy street until reach
cross street - ESSEX street.
Walk finished at Mcdonald on Delancy street and cross street is Essex St. We can have last sit down meeting together there. We can use Restroom there before go home.
Mcdonald offer lot of item on their $1.00 menu (One Dollar deal).Or you can go back home.There is several Subway station. Subway Train F, J, M is right next to Mcdonald. There is some other train couple of block from Mcdonald. The # 6 is at Spring and Lafayette.
You walked from Mcdonalds to mulberry, up a block and there was the station.
FULL DETAILS OF THIS EVENT AS FOLLOWS:
Arrive Time / City Hall Park. 11:30 PM to 11:40 AM: Please arrive between 11:30 pm to 11:40 am. Meet at the Fountain, Inside CITY HALL PARK, located nearby Park Row and Beekman St.
We meet,greet each other and make new friends.
There is Startbucks cross the street ,use their Restroom before you start walking.
We meet inside the CITY HALL PARK not outside.
We do Stretching and breathing exercise ourselves. It will help us to warm up our body before we start walk. Its option to do it.
Walk start sharp at 12:00 PM : Meet at the Fountain, Inside CITY HALL PARK, located nearby Park Row and Beekman St. Join to know history and for a talk about the consolidated New York City, then walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to visit the Brooklyn for a look back to when Brooklyn was a city of its own, and return via the Manhattan Bridge. One's we reach in Brooklyn area from the Brooklyn bridge,
we will pass DUMBO (neighborhood between the brooklyn and manhattan bridges) .Then, we will walk underneath of Brooklyn Bridge to get to the PARK. A beautifil small park situated bank of river between Brooklyn and Manhattan. After that,we will walk towards to Manhattan Bridge.
From Brooklyn Bridge ,we walk to Brooklyn Bridge park, go to pier 2 ,Park located underneath of the brooklyb Bridge than walk towards to Manhattan Bridge. After walk over Manhattan Bridge, we will be walking on Bowery Steet, in china Town towards to E.Houston Street.Walk 7 block to get there.
We going to pass Delancy street before we get to E.Houston Street. We going to stop to have a picnic before we go Williamsburg Bridge at WHOLEFOODS. 95 E.Houston street.China Town. A good place to picnic and use the bathroom facility before heading off to the Williamsburg Bridge is the second floor of Wholefoods, 95 E. Houston St. (E.Houston and Bowery). Very clean. it will accomodate around and over 200 something people. On second floor walk all the way in back and turn right,there is Rest room and we will all sit near around there. You can buy your lunch there too, if you do not want to bring from your home. Its your choice. Please bring your bagpack with your lunch box,coffee or tea thermos,water etc with you.
ESTIMATE TIME TO REACH WHOLEFOODS BETWEEN 2:15 PM TO 2:45 PM.
ESTIMATE TIME TO LEAVE FROM WHOLEFOODS FROM 3:30 PM TO 4:00 PM.
WE SPENT ONE HOUR FOR LUNCH AND KNOWING EACH OTHER MAKE NEW FRIENDS.
Then, We walk towards to Williamsburg Bridge and then we walk over the Williamsburg Bridge and back. ESTIMATE TIME BACK FROM WILLIAMSBURG BRIDGE AND ARRIVED AT McDONALD BETWEEN 5:15 PM TO 6:00 PM.
Tour will last approximately 4 to 5 hours, so wear comfortable sneker , cloth suitable to that day weather ,bring snacks,Lunch Box,Coffee or Tea Thermos,in your bagpack and bring water. Walk over the bridges might have more colder temperature.
WE WILL MEET AT 11:30 AM. WE MEET AND GREET EACH OTHER, WORKOUT OURSELVES. WALK START SHARP AT 12:00 PM.
