Michigan Adventurers Club is a 501(c)4 non-profit whose mission is to build community spirit through our adventures together while exploring nature and discovering interesting places.

Meet with local outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy the wonderful state of Michigan! Activities include (though are not limited to) camping, hiking, canoeing, yoga, rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, skating and many other adventures.

This group welcomes all ages. As we have grown, we have gained many members, organizers, friends and memories! If you enjoy the activities listed here, bring your experience and enthusiasm and come join us for an awesome adventure!

If you're new to the group and looking to join us don't be shy! Please tell us about yourself and a little of what your looking for from the club, to help us understand what type of events you may be looking for. In addition to this, we require a real photo of yourself, so we know who you are and can welcome you, when you show up to your first event. Sunset - Moonrise Hike

Pinckney State Recreation Area - Silver Lake Trailhead, Trail Post 7

We will walk a short section of the Potawatomi Trail to see the sunset over Crooked Lake and then return on Silver Hill Road under the rising full moon. The overall distance will be about 3 miles. Stoney Creek Metropark hike.

Stoney Creek Metro Park

Join me for a morning hike to start the week off right. Let’s meet in the Nature center parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and start hiking at 9:15. We will hike 7-8 miles on the Inwood, and nature trail systems at a moderate pace of 3 miles per hour for approximately 2 hours. Please dress for the weather. Proper footwear and traction devices are recommend. Important to know: The locations of these hike are in Michigan State Parks/Recreation areas or Metroparks, that require daily or annual passes. Passes can be obtained from the park headquarters or toll booths at the park entrances.

Taco Tuesday 2 After Dark at Island Lake!!

Join me for an after-dark-workout-hike on the Hickory Ridge Trail in Island Lake State Recreation Area. We will be hiking approximately 5 miles at a moderately fast pace of about 20 minutes per mile. Let's assemble at 6:15 pm and begin hiking promptly at 6:30 pm. Meeting location: After entering the park from Kensington Rd, proceed straight on Kent Lake Beach Road. Penosha Trailhead, Brighton State Recreation Area

Join me for a hike at Brighton State Recreation Area. Let’s meet at the Penosha / Yellow Kachin Trailhead parking lot at 9:00 A.M and start hiking at 9:15. We will be hiking 7 miles at a moderate pace of 3 miles per hour for approximately 2 hours. Please dress for the weather. Proper foot wear and traction devices are recommended. Important to know: The location of these hikes are in Michigan State Parks/Recreation Areas,or Metro Parks, that requires daily or annual passes. Passes can be obtained from the park headquarters or toll booths at park entrances.
