December-Saturday Moon Light Paddle 2016

  • This is the last paddle this year.

    This popular event is great for the experienced paddler as well as the novice. Come to Proud Lake and paddle either a canoe or a kayak into the setting sun. Walk into Milford for dinner or dessert before returning to the canoe rental, where a bonfire will be awaiting you. No partner necessary, all skill levels welcome.

    Please Dress for the weather. Hat, coat, gloves, and layers depending what the temperature is.

    Bring a headlamp or flashlight and water bottle.

    Recreational Passport required.
    You need to make your reservation with Heavners.

    Reservations: at Proud Lake.

    Canoe $40.
    Solo Kayak $30.
    Have your own boat $10.
    All payable to Heavner Canoe Rental and include the bonfire and return shuttle.
    Dinner is Not included in the price.

    2016 Paddles Dates:

    Sorry to say but the Friday night paddles has ended. It's just Saturday night paddles now.

    Full Cold Moon: Sat. December 10.
    3:30 pm paddle launch time. 7:30 pm last shuttle departs from Milford.
