An absence of any of the above will prevent you from reaching your goal. Less of one can be made up for by extra of another but you will need at least some of each.

I have a close friend who wants to get his private pilot cert. He's 58 yrs old and has almost no (0) flight experience.  Later this week he's planning a trip to Clearwater, FL for apx. 5 weeks and plans to train with a flight school he found on the Internet, http://niedra.com/ He asked me to look at their website and give feedback. If you have time, I would like your comments regarding both:

1) the flight school, http://niedra.com/ and

2) the preposterous idea of becoming a pilot
