The MOMS Club of Louisville East is the local chapter of The International MOMS Club, an organization that believes in the motto “Moms Offering Moms Support.” The group is comprised of active and engaged stay at home moms of all ages, from all backgrounds, who have found themselves living and raising kids in Louisville. The group’s focus is exploration in the community through daily activities that ignite the minds and imaginations of its young members, while providing a much needed, friendly, outlet for stay at home moms to socialize. The young members, currently ranging in age from 2 months to 5 years, bond over the consistent weekly opportunities the group provides, and learn to socialize long before entering a formal pre-school program.
The East Louisville chapter currently has a dozen active members who participate in everything from trips to the zoo, nature centers, orchards, story times, community parks, and more. We also focus on seasonal volunteer activities, where the group can give back to the community both through their time and donated goods. Finally, we have a monthly Moms’ Night Out that gives the moms a chance to try out new restaurants or try out a craft project, while enjoying adult conversation. We are activity recruiting new members and welcome moms to get involved! Please contact Peggy at firstname.lastname@example.org for membership information.
Please note: this is a small, local group of moms. Our budget is limited, and as such, we're only able to host a 50-member MeetUp group. Since our goal is to connect with other local moms in person, we will periodically remove members from our roster after about 60 days if we haven't seen them at a MeetUp or heard from them. Thanks for understanding our passion for supporting and connecting with local moms!
