The Internet Of Hacks

Bring your own device to hack and to be hacked!

Netlight is happy to host the January meetup of MUC:SEC: computer security professionals in the greater München area meet to exchange their experiences on battling cybercrime, handling computer security incidents or just exchange best practices in computer security.

We are planning on a brief introduction of Netlight's activities (5min presentation) and then proceed to some fun hardware hacking sessions.

It was a pleasure to have all the hackers at our office and I am looking forward to the next meetup.

Thank you to each and everyone of you who brought a small contribution to an awesome evening.

Great Meetup and plenty of interesting hardware. Thanks again to Netlight for sponsoring delicious food and drinks. A special thanks to Ana for letting us stay way later than planned.

I've put my slides here (as a QuickTime movie because of the videos):

It was a great meetup, fun and interesting. We should do a workshop or something on the same topic.

Personally, I think this might have been the most fun Meetup yet and definitely the nicest venue. Having Netlight host us was fantastic. Given the interest in IoT security, we should do this again, perhaps with the IoT Meetup, or perhaps as an afternoon with more time and equipment on our hands.

When you arrive at Rezidenstr. 7, do NOT go up on the first staircase, cross the interior courtyard of the building and go up the second staircase.

ps. There are problems with U3/6

It's been brought to my attention that Google Maps gets the location wrong. Please refer to Netlight's own page: http://www.netlight.com/en/#/offices/munchen for the correct location.

    Hi all,
The topic this month is Internet of Things security. While I have some toys I can bring with me, and can do a intro to the topic, I'm not an expert here. It would be great if everyone could bring along some IoT device for a little show-and-tell. In particular, I don't have access to any PLC/ICS devices, although I (or Rainer) can present the results of my colleague's ICS Honeypot experiments.
If you have a presentation to give on this subject, let me know asap. We would love to accommodate you!
    Cheers, Morton

I don't have any IoT things. Maybe I'm special. Or I need to get a Nest. But I shall happily learn from you guys.
