Calling all BMW M owners to join our our M Drive Club (MDC)
If you would like to sponsor our group, we'll be very happy to take that; contact us.
We own M cars and we know we love them....so, getting the M owners of the area together to discuss their experiences, share stories, do activities with our M cars in the area such as short road trips, scenic drives, track days, etc.
We are a new groups so we need new members to stir the group and grow. Please, join! I looked around on Meetup and could not find a BMW M club, but I know there are many M owners in the area...so, let's bring it together and do cool & fun stuff together.
Don't own an M, that's fine too. As long as you have a BMW or any other sports car and are an M enthusiast, you can join the club and enjoy the great activities we plan together. ///M The most powerful letter in the world!
We also have a Facebook page https://www.facebook.... (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1556794104560162) We will use that page mainly for experience, story, and fun sharing along with Q&A. We will post events on FB as well, but events that require RSVP manipulation will be posted on Meetup.com only since FB does not provide such capabilities.
This is a great track day event those that are interested to try their car on the track.
This is a 2-day track day event on Saturday and Sunday. First, you need to join NASA Racing if you are not already a member (they have events all year, so it's worth it). It costs you $45. Link: https://www.nasaproracing.com/users/sign_up
Second, you need to register for the event. The event is $454 for both days (which is a great value!). You need to choose your class. If you are new, choose HPDE 1. https://nasaproracing.com/events/2983
This event is held at the Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in Alton, VA. That's where we will meet up. More exact details on timetable and driver list will be released 2 weeks prior to the event. There are some of us that are member of NASA and will participate in this event. I know many of you have track days as your interests on your profiles. This event is instructed by an instructor. Please, post your question/comments below.
You can come and join us on the track and paddock even if you don't wanna bring your own car for experience and perhaps a ride-along :)
See you all there.
Note: VIR is a very demanding track; heavy on brakes and tires.
