- Hike - 8 mile FDR/Pine Mountain
This hike will be an 8 mile loop. We will meet at 10am at the base of the WJSP-TV Tower and hike the Wolfden and White Candle Trails, which has a gentle cascading water fall. This loop total hiking mileage will be 8 miles. We did this hike last year and it was very enjoyable. FDR/Pine Mountain will probably become one of your favorite parks in the state so, if you have never been or it's been a while, come join some friends for a day trip to southwest Georgia. Location: Meet at the WJSP-TV Tower Parking lot at 10am. Follow brown signs to Little White House, and TV tower is south of there (uphill) about 3 miles. Hike Distance: +8 miles. Time: 10am until 1pm (3 Hours) Difficulty: Medium - this is not a difficult walk, we will be aiming to go at about 3mph. What to bring: Bring Snack, water, bug spray, sun block.. - High Falls State Park
Meet at the park office parking lot ..(south side of river). Don't forget $5 parking fee if you don't have an annual pass. We will leave at 12:30 and hike Serenity -3 mile- trail. If Anyone wants more hiking, you can then hike the north side of the river. Bring water, sunscreen, snacks, (bug spray)!

- Hike -Amerson River Park - Secret Trails
We found some secret trails at Amerson Park.
Plan on this being an exploratory hike.
Hike at Amerson River Park (Water Works Park) at 1pm.
Meet at the playground parking area by the restrooms.

- 10 am HIKE - Ocmulgee National Monument trails
This is a really special place in Macon, with history, mystery, heritage, culture, and intrigue. This historic park boasts Native American ceremonial earth mounds & a museum with artifacts on display. There are about 6 miles of trails.
What to bring: Water, bug spray and a friend or two.
Park rules: Dog are also able to use this trails but must be kept on leash. Pace: we will be doing a walk (2.5 -3mph)
Distance: 5-6 miles.
- Hike Wesleyan college Arboretum trails
Meet at entrance 5 on Tucker Road. Look for the first big parking lot on the right.. The Wesleyan busses are usually parked in this parking lot. Wesleyan College has several miles of nature trails winding through the woods. Creeks, ridges and Lake trails make up a 2-mile loop. We will plan to do two loops.
- Hike - Arabia Mountain Nature Trail
Meet at Davidson-Arabia Mountain Visitors Center.
Scenic highlights for this section include rolling hills, woodlands, secluded lakes, and a very cool section that’s basically all granite. This section is part of a 20+ mile hiking and biking system that runs from Stone Crest Mall all the way to a 70-year old monastery!
