  • This location is shown only to members

Phil D is the organizer for this meetup.  If you need to contact him, please post a message on the wall, or go into his profile and email him through there.

Per MAMM policy, cellphone use by members during a movie is prohibited.  We request that you put away your phones once the previews start. If you need to check your phone for any reason, please exit the auditorium.

For (new) members: Please take the time to rate the event (not the movie) afterwards. Written feedback on the wall is also welcome if you want to talk about the movie or other things. Thanks!

This is the 2D version.  I haven't done a movie here since Ironman 3 in May, so it's time for a return to the Scotiabank Theatre.  Plus its the only one that has the non-3D option.

This was an horribly organized meetup. I came at 6:45pm and waited until 7:20pm and nobody showed up and I had already bought my ticket. This was my first meetup with this group and I'm definitely not joining one with this group again!

Thanks Chris. Yes, Yvette contacted them and included what I wrote above, so 'former member' has seen it. :)

I contacted her and pointed out how organized Phil is and that she may have gone to the wrong location. Too bad she left just because of this. Stuff happens and it's important to look at the situation before making a rash decision. Thanks for the great attitude Phil and I appreciate your support Chris. See you guys soon!

Good movie, I find these X Men films tend to be more serious in tone than the Avenger Marvel ones. The action was good, I enjoyed seeing Sonny Chiba protege Hiroyuki Sanada, who plays Mariko's father, battling Wolverine with the double samurai swords. He also was in the trailer shown before the film for 47 Ronin. I thought it was a bit stereotypical in that all the Japanese characters seemed to know martial arts, or were yakuza or ninja. But hey, it's a fantasy movie, not an accurate look at current Japanese culture. Thanks John and Dave for coming out to see the film!

I mentioned to Dave and John that I thought the actress playing the reptile character looked like her voice was dubbed. I didn't think the voice matched her mouth movements. Apparently I'm not the only one, some folks on also commented on that.
