Enough Said

Movie synopsis:

A divorced and single parent, Eva spends her days enjoying work as a masseuse but dreading her daughter's impending departure for college. She meets Albert - a sweet, funny and like-minded man also facing an empty nest. As their romance quickly blossoms, Eva befriends Marianne, her new massage client. Marianne is a beautiful poet who seems "almost perfect" except for one prominent quality: she rags on her ex-husband way too much. Suddenly, Eva finds herself doubting her own relationship with Albert as she learns the truth about Marianne's ex.

Seinfeld trivia - I was trying to place the face of the guy playing Julia Louis Dreyfuss' ex husband. He looked so familiar. Turns out, he played a guy she was dating on Seinfeld. If you remember the episode where the guy was parading around in the TV commercial 'I'm the wiz! Nobody beats me!'. :)

Thx Phil for selecting a film that showed the human condition of needing to connect but making messes because of our fears.

Good little movie. I was expecting a romantic comedy from the trailer, but then after 20 min, and wondering why the movie wasn't all that funny, I realized this was more of a drama. Great little movie about relationships, fear of getting hurt or rejection, and learning to accept the flaws in someone you care about. Thanks for coming out to the film ladies!

I saw this movie last night and highly recommend it. I thought it was very realistic and not at all contrived for the screen.
