I didn't watch this in the theatres last year, then I started watching on the plane last week, but only got about 1/2hour before we landed.  So now it's only $6 at Yonge & Dundas, so you and I can check it out for cheap!  I can't think of a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day with this thriller!  :)

This movie had a good story line that kept me engaged and continually trying to work out the clues as to the guilt party. The director set the mood will by having it rain most of the time and no sunshine just a very neutral town and ordinary folks. I plan to watch this one again.

I agree the setting was done really well fact it was such an ordinary town with just ordinary people made it all the more sad isee what you meanabout alex being.too scared to say anything.

ithink it was a less on inkarma he hurt alex which he didn't have toalex was a victim too what ididnt understand is that if alex had an iQ of a ten year old why didn't he just manipulate the answer out off him.Iwouldnt think someoe with the mentality of a ten year old that it wouldn't.be too difficult to manipulate the truth out of him. I also couldn't understand why the guy didn't yell instead if he could whistle Idefinately.thought the moviee was full of lots of suspenseful twists and turns that definately kept me on the edge of my seat.

I agree on the mentality comment but then I figured that he was afraid to say anything and feared his foster mother's rath more than the police or jail.

I'm glad I finally watched this movie, I thought it was really good! There were some false clues initially to make you suspect the wrong people, but eventually I found the story falling into place. A great thriller from this Canadian director. Maybe he'll be the next David Fincher or Christopher Nolan? Thanks everyone for coming out to the moving, and thanks for your patience with getting seats at Spring Rolls. I will upload the photos tomorrow.

I was going to agree but I was thinking more 'ethical' rather than 'anal', I know, sometimes people think that's the same thing. :P

I think we were meant to wonder. The sound of the squeaking whistle will haunt us to our dying day.
