I love the poster above! Clearly it was made by someone who's never seen a bench before. Maybe it was Escher who made it. ;)

This was the date move of its time. I'll explain that to the people who are attending. :) Full of memorable characters and moments, and at the time, some cutting edge technology that inserted Tom Hanks into historical film footage. Also, keep an eye out for a very young Haley Joel Osment. Even at that age, you could see what a great actor he was!

Directed by Robert Zemeckis, who earlier did the Back To The Future trilogy, and this year directed Flight. And this movie earned Tom Hanks his second Oscar win. He was on a hot streak.

Still an enjoyable movie after all these years (almost 20!). The actor who played Bubba, Mykelti Williamson has been in quite a few films. The role I was thinking of was one of the officers in Heat. Thanks for coming out to the movie, and Fran's after!

Hi all, I just realized that the movie will probably be done at 10pm. I'll probably eat dinner beforehand, so if you want to join me, I'll be at the AMC food court one floor down, around 6:30pm. I usually sit in front of the Subway restaurant.

If there was ever a 5 star food court...

I find the KFC Section to be a bit less sophisticated than the Subway area.

I say, except for the not being intelligent, Midnight's Children was like an Indian Forrest Gump.
