We're delighted to partner this month with Madison's DevTogether! Learn more: https://www.meetup.com/DevTogetherMad

A huge thanks to 8th Light for hosting us and to Ian's Pizza for providing dinner! (We'll have vegan and vegetarian pizza.)

This event is focused on pairing; we expect most folks will be interested in Rails, but everything is fair game. Is there something you've been wanting to try in JavaScript? Looking for tips on technical interviewing? It's all good with us!

HOW TO SECURE A SPOT

Everyone fills out the following form: http://bit.ly/DevTogetherMadJune2019Signup

In this form, you'll specify if you're interested in being a "Mentor" (ie: teacher part of the pair) or "Mentee" (ie: learner part of the pair). The form is due by ** Thursday, June 13th at 8pm **, so that we have ample time to pair folks up according to their interests / abilities.

HOW IT WORKS

Mentors are able to give back, share knowledge they've gained in their careers and improve communication and leadership skills.

Mentees receive mentoring personalized to their needs.

After everyone has signed up, we'll send out an email by June 16th letting folks know who they've been matched with.

MISCELLANEOUS

The door to enter from the front is sometimes hard to see; it's in-between Señor Machetes and Argus.

The back entrance is accessible; there's a wheelchair ramp, and the elevator is through the first open doorway on the left.

While we won't have activities specifically for children, they're always welcome.
