How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

Normal is boring and overrated. Instead be eccentric, unusual and unique - add a little passion for what you love and welcome to geekdom.

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

astronomy & other science, enjoying nature and stargazing, reading (and watching) SFF, listening to classical music

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Hitchhiker's Guide Books, really the list is way too long to share here

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

Mainly hoping to expand options on things to do in area. I like outdoor stuff (silent sports mainly), museums, trivia, plays/theater, music..

Introduction

Major science geek here.
