How do you relate to the term "geekery" or "geek"?

What are some of the activities that you enjoy doing? (You may wish to share, in particular, any that might be considered geeky.)

Rock climbing, eating cheese, games, museums, science fiction...

What are a few of your favorite things? (Book titles, games, places, movies, tv shows, restaurants, band names, brown-paper-packages-tied-up-with-string, etc.)

My favorite book, Days of the Consuls, was written by Nobel Prize in Literature winner Ivo Andric. I loved the newer Battlestar Galactica TV series.

In joining Geekery, what type of meet-ups are you hoping to find? (Gaming, evenings out, new restaurants, trivia, movies, outdoor stuff, museums, etc.)

I would not classify myself as a geek; consider me a geekery interloper.
