Generating waves of peace together, the timeless vibrations of Vedic wisdom flow through. We open with a traditional Indian kirtan invocation, the Shanti mantra, sung by kirtan member, Yamuna, and a beautiful blessing of light ceremony called Aarti, closes our kirtan. In the Aarti, we each receive blessing made of sandalwood paste drawn upon the Third Eye, evoking peace and tranquility.
Our musician ensemble dynamically leads us through traditional Sanskrit call and response, with a few gospel spiritual favorites. Sing ancient mantras, meditate, learn, dance to ancient rhythms, and just be, as the energy builds. Share in prasad afterwards, and likely dine together at Swad Indian Restaurant --join us.
Simply join with others in community in this sweet energy together!
